Please read our terms and conditions carefully before booking a retreat. They cover important details about reservations, payments, cancellations, and participant responsibilities.

Bookings & Payments

Surf lessons can be booked in advance or arranged directly with HAVEFUNSURFTOGETHER, subject to availability and surf conditions.

A deposit of 20% of the total lesson price is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance can be paid on the day of the lesson, either in cash or via the agreed payment method.

Cash
Bank transfer
Credit card / PayPal

Please note:

Bank transfer fees (if applicable) are the responsibility of the guest.
Credit card / PayPal payments are subject to a 5% processing fee, which must be covered by the guest.

Your booking is considered confirmed once the deposit has been received.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that unexpected situations such as illness or injury can occur.

If you are unable to attend your surf lesson due to illness or injury, we will prioritise rescheduling your lesson to another date, subject to availability and surf conditions.
Refunds may be considered at our discretion, but rescheduling is the preferred and more likely option.
Cancellations made without a valid reason, late cancellations, or no-shows may result in the deposit being forfeited.

If HAVEFUNSURFTOGETHER needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson due to unsafe surf conditions, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered:

A rescheduled lesson, or
A credit for a future lesson

Cash refunds are not guaranteed in these cases.

Surf Conditions & Safety

Surfing is an ocean-based activity and is dependent on weather, swell, tides, and other natural conditions. Lesson times and locations may change at short notice to ensure the best and safest experience.

All participants must follow the instructions of the surf instructors at all times. HAVEFUNSURFTOGETHER reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who behaves unsafely or fails to follow safety guidelines.

Health & Fitness Responsibility

By booking a surf lesson, you confirm that:

You are in good physical health and able to participate in surfing.
You can swim independently in open water.
You have disclosed any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations to the instructor prior to the lesson.

Participation is entirely at your own risk.

Liability Waiver & Release

By participating in a HAVEFUNSURFTOGETHER surf lesson, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with surfing and ocean activities.

You agree to waive and release HAVEFUNSURFTOGETHER, its instructors, employees, and partners from any liability for injury, loss, damage, or death arising from participation in surf lessons or related activities, including transport to and from surf locations.

HAVEFUNSURFTOGETHER is not responsible for:

Delays, missed connections, or travel-related issues
Lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings
Injuries occurring outside the lesson time

Media & Photography

Photos and videos may be taken during surf lessons for promotional and marketing purposes.
By participating, you grant HAVEFUNSURFTOGETHER permission to use your image, likeness, or voice in promotional material without compensation. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform us before the lesson.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations, changes, or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or other force majeure events. No refunds or compensation will be issued in such cases.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants have appropriate travel and health insurance that covers surfing and water sports, including medical expenses and trip interruptions.

Acceptance of Terms

By making a payment or participating in a surf lesson with HAVEFUNSURFTOGETHER, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, which form a binding agreement between you and HAVEFUNSURFTOGETHER.
